In this research of my preliminary task before starting my actual coursework i was asked to design a rough idea of what a college magazine should look like. I took photos of my friend in school unifrom and glasses to make her look educated and well dressed as i was trying to design a magazine that would be published in well educated colleges such as Oxford or Cambridge. The Text i used was small and to the point as this isnt trying to get there attention its there to deliver information. My mast head is called ' Bolton College'.
I also had a go at designing a contents page by playing with texts and pictures so i had a rough idea how to use it when i come to designing my final coursework. Overall this is has helped me with a good start into my course work as it has showed me a rough example of how a magazine should be layed out.
I did also try to attempt a contents page, which wont upload, however if you look on my evaluation write up my contents page was able to be uploaded to that, but i have a rough idea now of how to use INdesign. So i am now ready to start my main task.
